“Go back with your quarterback,” Randy Moss tells Davante Adams to link up with ex-teammate Aaron Rodgers in Jets to win Super Bowl

During a recent appearance on Up and Adams, Randy Moss suggested that if Davante Adams wants to add a Super Bowl ring then he should consider the move to the Jets.

Randy Moss encouraged Davante Adams: If there’s a possibility, he should link up with Aaron Rodgers. The Pro Football Hall of Famer wants the Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver to aim for a Super Bowl ring.

The murmur about a possible Davante Adams move to the New York Jets has caught steam in the last couple of weeks. As the teams begin preparation for the training camp, the fans want to know if there’s merit to all the chatter.

To make matters even more interesting, retired receiver Randy Moss suggested that Adams should give the idea of linking up with Rodgers serious thought. He wants the six time Pro Bowler to aim for the ultimate prize because he has made enough money after playing in the NFL for a decade.

I really don't see why he [Davante Adams] should not chase a ring. I think that he's made all his money; he's made enough money.
Randy Moss said while appearing on Up and Adams

It’s surprising for the 47-year-old to speak against the Raiders, where he played for a couple of seasons, but he provided a valid reason for it.

I don't know if the Raiders—I mean, hell, they're in the same division with the Kansas City Chiefs. So, I don't see a ring in their near future.
Randy Moss added

Moss understands the feeling of not reaching the summit. Despite being one of the all-time greats, he never won a Super Bowl. His best chance to win the Lombardi Trophy was during his stint in New England.

Perhaps he wants Adams, who, similar to him, will end up in the HOF, to choose the path that leads to the Super Bowl. In this case, joining Rodgers in New York.

If it’s any fit, speaking about a guy like Davante Adams, go back with your quarterback man; in Aaron Rodgers, they made some great things happen. I mean, that would look good for him at the Jets.

Randy Moss quipped

Adams’ move to the gang green comes down to the salary cap. Whether the Jets have the cash to afford him and if the Raiders can afford to put up with the dead cap after his sale.

Former Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason broke down the scenario that could instigate the move.

The dead cap for the Raiders this year is $40 million [if they traded him]. I’m hearing that this is gonna to happen—if it does happen—in late August or early September. And the cap hit for him is $25 million.

Aaron Rodgers recently announced that he would love to play with Davante Adams. However, for the time being, Adams remains a Raider.
