The rivalry between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton is heating up week by week. Owens has been doing his best to get under The Viper’s skin, and it seems to be working. After another round of mind games, Orton had some strong words for him.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes shared an emotional moment, reflecting on their long journeys and how far they had come. However, Drew McIntyre interrupted by shifting his focus to The American Nightmare’s world title. After a heated confrontation, a match was set between The Viper and McIntyre later that night.
In the final moments of the match, as Orton prepared to finish the former world champion with an RKO, Kevin Owens intervened. The distraction allowed McIntyre to land a devastating Claymore, costing Orton the match. Frustrated by the loss, the 14-time world champion had enough of Owens constantly interfering in his business.

Randy Orton hints about going after his protage Cody Rhodes’ world title
The London fans witnessed a heartfelt moment between two former Legacy members. Orton came face-to-face with his former protege, someone he once guided to success. He also praised Rhodes and said that it took big guts for him to leave WWE and do what he had to do. The 14-time world champion told Rhodes he was proud of him and wished him luck in defeating John Cena at WrestleMania.

Orton made it clear that once things settle, he will go after his 15th world title. The Legend Killer vowed not to use cheap tactics like Cena did. Instead, he would face Rhodes head-on and challenge him with respect.
“There’s gonna be a time where I’m gonna go for number 15, but I’m not gonna kick you in the balls, I’m gonna look you in the eye and tell you I’m coming for this.”

Although Maven didn’t make a big impact in WWE, he has gained significant attention on social media. With over 600K YouTube subscribers, he regularly educates fans on various wrestling topics. Recently, the former Hardcore Champion praised his close friend, Randy Orton.

He appeared on Power Talk and was asked about the biggest highlight of his career. Maven said his match with The Viper was definitely one of the standout moments. He praised Orton as a great in-ring partner who made their matches smooth and brought out his best performance.
My highlight match would definitely be any match I had with Randy Orton. Randy would bring the best out of me. Randy was just an easy guy to work with. Our synergy in the ring worked well together. Pretty comparable with size and our athletic ability was on par with one another.
