Recently, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens joined forces to fight the new version of The Bloodline. Interestingly, the video of their brawl with the dominant faction reached one million views on social media. The Viper took no time and shared a post about it on social media, tagging Owens.

The Prizefighter took to X and shared an image, which appeared to be the name of their new tag team, R-KO. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa launched an attack on the 39-year-old star. The numbers favored The Bloodline until Randy Orton‘s music turned up. Although his attempt to hit the RKO was unsuccessful, he sent Tonga and Solo to retreat.

However, this was not the first time Orton and Kevin Owens proved to be each other’s allies. Even though they were opponents in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania XL, they ganged up on Logan Paul to teach him a lesson. The unpredictable duo has had some taste of tag team wrestling, as they defeated Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on the March 8 episode of SmackDown.

Following the massive brawl, SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis announced that The Bloodline would take on the duo of Owens and Orton at Backlash. This would also mark Tama Tonga‘s first official match in WWE. It will be interesting to see whether the new tag team manages to defeat The Bloodline or not.

While speaking on the Grilling JR podcast, Ross talked about his match against Mick Foley at Backlash in 2004. He stated that the match between him and Foley proved that, although he was very young at the time, he indeed was a tough wrestler.

And there’s a famous shot… off all the thumbtacks and Randy’s back. Man, he landed in the right spot, I guess. Because he was loaded, he was loaded with thumbtacks. It proved to all the fans that Randy Orton is not only a great-looking athlete and all those nice things, those accolades. He showed his toughness as a former United States Marine.

This match ultimately ended up helping both legends to some extent. While Foley eventually found his place in the Hall of Fame, The Viper added many records to his name and continues to build his legacy.
