Randy Orton will make his way to Berlin this Saturday in his quest for the 15th World Championship. He is going up against Gunther, who is undoubtedly one of the best wrestlers in the world. The champion has been dominant and is in his prime as of now. Meanwhile, many say The Viper is past his era. Speaking of that, Orton recently claimed to be in his ‘prime’ even now after being in WWE for over 20 years.
In an interview with Independent, the Apex Predator said that he feels like he is operating at a whole other level. He added that to him, he is still at his peak, or, as many would say, prime. Orton explained that the back surgery he had last year has given him a sort of new life to carry on in this professional wrestling business.
Ever since I had my back fused, it’s like a new lease on life. I believe this is the biggest match I’ve had since returning [against GUNTHER this Saturday]. You know, it’s crazy to say, but I feel like I’m still in my prime in the profession that I’m in. That really excites me.Randy Orton via Independent
Moreover, Randy Orton emphasized that this Saturday is going to be his biggest match since his return in November 2023. The Legend Killer looks confident in this interview ahead of Bash in Berlin. He has his eyes set on getting his hands on the coveted World Heavyweight Championship after being on a war of words with the Ring General for weeks.
Gunther already has a win over the Apex Predator. The former has defeated the latter at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia. However, that match had a controversial ending. It is going to be interesting to see if Orton will be able to redeem himself in this blockbuster match. The 44-year-old has yet to win a single PLE match this year.
Randy Orton talked about his interaction with young talents
Randy Orton is a professional wrestling veteran. He won the World Championship at just the age of 24. After having a career spanning over two decades, the Viper has a lot of words of wisdom and advice to provide to young talents. Recently, he spoke about the interaction he has with the new stars and upcoming talents.

During a conversation with Independent, Orton said that he speaks to the newcomers every now and then. He added that he feels he has a lot of experience that might be helpful for them. The Viper emphasized by saying that at a young age, people tend to make a lot of mistakes. Therefore, he feels like it is an opportunity for him to educate the talent to avoid such mistakes.
A couple of the new fellas, they’ve been wrestling [elsewhere] for a while and they come here finally after the blood, sweat, tears and really grinding it out. Once you’re here, it’s hard to prepare for. In 2002, I had just turned 22 and I was on television every week. So, I can speak a lot of the experiences from when I came in and I can pass that on.Randy Orton via Independent
Moreover, the Apex Predator said that everyone who is in WWE struggled to reach their position. However, when they step in such a huge position, they get baffled and might lose track. Obviously, Orton has a lot of respect from the locker room, as it seems as many WWE superstars recently joined the fray on his sides in his controversy with MGK.
