After suffering a loss at Backlash, Randy Orton shifted his focus to one thing he hasn’t been able to win yet: the King of the Ring tournament. He defeated AJ Styles in a fantastic match and advanced to the next round, where he fought Carmelo Hayes. When The Viper hit the RKO to finish the match, fans witnessed a very wholesome moment he dedicated to his wife.

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, he faced Carmelo Hayes in the tournament quarterfinals. The former NXT Champion disrespected Randy Orton by smacking his head, just as he did to Baron Corbin. The Legend Killer soon got hold of him and finished the match with a beautiful RKO out of nowhere. Despite his wedding ring almost slipping off his finger, he carefully placed it back on.

Orton’s wife, Kim Orton, also took to Instagram and shared a video of him not losing his ring during the match. He defeated HIM and progressed to the next round to fight The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga. On the latest episode of SmackDown in Saudi Arabia, The Viper got the better of the M.F.T. easily countering the interference from Solo Sikoa.

Soon after the match, The Enforcer entered the ring and attacked the 44-year-old veteran. However, Kevin Owens, who had been absent since the Street Fight at Backlash in France, came out to save the day. The Apex Predator will battle Gunther for the crown. Fans are clamoring for him to win against The Ring General, as this victory could give him a chance to secure his 15th world title.

Randy Orton has been wrestling in WWE for over 20 years, but his finishing move, the RKO, still amazes people to this day. After he executed the maneuver on Carmelo Hayes, fans just couldn’t stop talking about it on social media. While some fans praised The Viper’s efficiency, others were impressed by his physique.
