Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice had some choice of words for the Cincinnati Bengals after their win over the latter at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. He took his time to give it back to the Bengals for the previous trash talks by them.

The Chiefs edged out the Bengals 26-25 in the last minutes with a field goal by the infamous Harrison Butker. The Patrick Mahomes-led team, who are gunning for a historic three-peat are now 2-0 while the Bengals are 0-2 for the third straight season. The Bengals are one of the biggest rivals of the Chiefs in their title defense alongside the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and a couple of others.

The Chiefs-Bengals rivalry has heated up in recent times. This is highly attributed to the players taking digs at the opponents harshly throughout the season and ahead of the games. The recent development was Ja’Marr Chase‘s statements regarding the Chiefs where he said there’s no mutual disliking of each other.

It is in this light that Rice has decided to make some noise and give it back. He used the analogy of barking dogs, stating that when one talks a big game, they need to show that too.

Like I said, we're focused on ourselves. We don't really care what anybody else says. Kind of when you talk, you gotta be able to show up and play for the talk
Rice said in the post game locker room interview

The player has been enjoying some good time as Patrick Mahomes’ WR1 after the injuries to Marquise Brown. Rice caught five of six targets for 75 yards and recorded a touchdown in Sunday’s controversial win over the Bengals.

Rashee Rice trying to get back into people’s good graces

Rashee Rice isn’t a fan favorite. He is a hot topic amongst NFL fans who have previously alleged sportswashing of the WR. The Philadelphia native was involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier this year.

Rice was driving the Lamborghini along with a friend in the Corvette. Their speeding resulted in one losing control and setting off a chain reaction of four-car collisions. Alleggedly, Rice fled the scene without even batting an eye for the injured drivers. There’s still a legal case involving him ongoing.

To add to his list of problems, he was also involved in an assault case in a bar. However, the victim didn’t press charges there.

Rice needs to show up and get back into the good graces of people. There have been calls for his suspension since the very start of the tournament when the Chiefs played the Baltimore Ravens.
