Politics is indeed head spinning, where one can keep debating on which candidate to support. However, when matters take a different turn, especially that involving an assassination attempt, it is not abnormal to see the entire country rallying after the affected candidate. Baltimore Ravens star Marlon Humphrey felt the same for Donald Trump.
The former President was at a gathering in Pennsylvania when a rooftop shooter let go of a few shots from his rifle. Thankfully, the one intended for Donald Trump, just grazed the right side of his face and his right ear. But for Humphrey it was a different form of an attack, something he wrote on his official X account.

This assassination attempt will likely force the majority of the country to look at its security, something they have been talking about for a long time. Marlon Humphrey‘s message suggests that the country is standing together in support.
As of now the FBI and other investigative organizations are looking into the motive behind this attempt. Considering that the Presidential elections are only a few months away, it is expected that security will be at an all-time high following this close mishap.
Marlon Humphrey joins NFL colleagues to support Donald Trump
Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey was not the only NFL star to speak out in support of Trump. As soon as news started trickling in, it was superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill who had a bizarre reaction to what he saw unfold. His close friend and former All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown, as usual, went all out in support of Trump.

With all news mediums showing the incident as captured and the aftermath, they were joined by star CB Sauce Gardner. However, the young All-Pro quickly deleted his post after he realized what he wrote was not in good faith.
He then came out with an apology and praised Trump. Then there was Las Vegas Raiders stud pass rusher Maxx Crosby, who called Trump a GOAT for the way he handled a life-threatening situation.
With the entire fraternity in support, it echoed the message Humphrey send out. This incident united the NFL and possibly America. After all, it was an attempt on the life of a former President, one who is again running to take charge of the nation.
