RavI Shastri is a very popular figure in Indian cricket. Ever since his days in the Indian cricket team, he was loved by many and his popularity grew as he turned into a commentator. After a stint as the Indian head coach, which saw him at the post for four years, he returned to commentary and has featured in many ads. 

On 10th April, Ravi Shastri started posting pictures of himself wearing a bathrobe, with all captions suggesting it is a ‘thirst trap’. In the first one, he called himself a “hottie” and “naughty”. In the 2nd tweet, he asked if his picture qualified as a thirst trap. For the final post, he covered his face with a napkin and joked that everyone’s girlfriends didn’t need to see his face to recognize him.

It was finally revealed that Shastri and Virender Sehwag starred in a new ad, which broke the internet. In the ad, Shastri and Sehwag are walking into a sauna box.

The former Indian coach introduces the former opener in his usual enthusiasm. Sehwag needs to remind him that they are in a sauna box, asking the commentator to relax. The two further promoted Make My Trip, as Shastri got calmer and calmer.

When Ravi Shastri uploaded his “thirst traps,” it left many fans wondering if his account hacked or if he was serious. Some fans were shocked by the first post, but realized it was a gimmick when he posted the second one. Many also joked about how Shastri loved to drink, photoshopping him in bars. Some also took digs at Shubman Gill and his thirst traps.
