Real Madrid CF vs FC Barcelona:  Real Madrid squared off against FC Barcelona at the King Fahd International Stadium in the ongoing edition of the Supercoppa de Espana.

Real Madrid took the lead through Vinicius Jr who scored a brilliant goal from a tight angle after the assist from Karim Benzema. However, Barcelona quickly managed to equalize with the goal from Luuk de Jong. Real Madrid came back again with Benzema finding the net from close range before Ansu Fati headed home. But Carlo Ancelotti’s men put the final nail in the coffin with Fede Valverde scoring from the counterattack.

Éder Militão (5.7/10): He was also pretty solid in the defense making some stops and he was also very good in the air as well. However, he has been a bit slow to react in certain situations.

Marc-André ter Stegen (5.5/10): The German Goalkeeper was decent and manage to stop some good shots but still was not able to stop some of the excellent shots by the Los Blancos players.

Gerard Piqué (5.5/10): The 34-year-old Spanish defender was strong at the back but still could have marked the Real Madrid players better to close in the gap and prevent the Los Blancos players to score the goals.

Ronald Araújo (6/10): The Uruguayan defender was exceptional at the back and was quick to get to the ball to stop the dangerous attacks. However, Real Madrid still managed to get past him to score 3 exceptional goals in the match.

Jordi Alba (6.5/10): The Spanish left-back was as usual, swift at the attack as well as in the defense. The 32-year-old Spaniard put up a strong defensive show and managed to stop some of the quick vital counters of Real Madrid. He provided the assist for Ansu Fati to help in the second vital goal.

Dani Alves (6.5/10): The Brazilian veteran right-back was agile and on point, as he managed to keep out the young Real Madrid winger and made some strong tackles and interceptions to win and play the ball for quick counters.

Sergio Busquets (6/10): The Captain had a decent and anchored the midfield with some good passes and interceptions from the back. However the Spanish international could have been more physical in vital gaps with the ball on his feet.

Frenkie de Jong (6.5/10): The Dutch midfielder was pretty impressive and created a major threat in the attack as he provided some good passes upfront for the Catalan forwards. De Jong was subbed off in the second half for the young talent Pedri who returns on the pitch after a major injury.

Gavi (7/10): The young midfielder was strong and intense with the ball on his feet as he made some strong interceptions and forward runs to help the frontline to get ahead to score the vital goals.

Luuk de Jong (8/10): The Dutch were exceptional in forward and played a perfect poacher. Luuk De Jong was intelligent enough to get into space and was strong in the air. He also managed to score the equalizer in the first to tap the rebound from Eder Militao.

Ousmane Dembélé (7.5/10): The French winger was sensational in the game as he was the main man for the Catalan side to create the strong attacks in the box. The Frenchmen provided the assists to Luuk De Jong for the first equalizer in the match.

Ferran Torres (6.5/10): The newest signing made his debut for the Catalan and was very impressive. The Spanish forward was exceptional as he got into gaps and created a danger, taking some vicious shots.

Pedri (7/10): The Spanish international young midfielder is yet again back with the Catalan side and was pretty impressed with the ball at his feet. Pedri provided some dangerous passes for attacks but was not eventually able to make the final impact in the match.
