The rematch of the 2024 Champions League final did not disappoint. Real Madrid did what they did best in the competition, leaving the audience speechless. They claimed a 5-2 comeback win over the Germans. However, what added to the game’s unpredictability was that Dortmund were comfortably on top till the 62nd minute.

Nuri Sahin and his men initially dominated Real Madrid to the extent that the Los Blancos hung by a thread. Two sublime finishes from Donyell Malen and Jamie Gittens took the Santiago Bernabeu by storm. However, Sahin dug his own grave in the second half when he subbed off Gittens for Walder Anton, a central defender, in the 55th minute.
