Real Madrid could have a massive problem in the summer due to Gareth Bale’s situation at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur agreed to take Gareth Bale on a one year deal and also agreed to pay a significant portion of his wages. Gareth Bale has done absolutely nothing to justify the wages he receives or the homecoming fanfare he was given. Jose Mourinho and the familiar home in England has so far been unable to get the best of the Welshman as he has scored just one goal in 232 minutes for Spurs.
It is expected that he will return to Real Madrid in the summer at the end of the loan
Gareth Bale is expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur if his performances continue like this through the remaining months of his loan. Real Madrid was happy to offload him for a year because of his massive wages and Zinedine Zidane’s refusal to play him in the field. Gareth Bale not being able to convince Tottenham Hotspur to extend his loan deal with them spells disaster for the Los Blancos.
A summer move for David Alaba is lined up while Real Madrid is still challenging Liverpool for the signing of Kylian Mbappe. Both of the players currently earn massive wages at Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain respectively and will expect to earn around the same amount at Real Madrid. Real Madrid will also have to decide on extending Sergio Ramos’s contract as his wages cannot be balanced with the incoming of David Alaba and Kylian Mbappe. Add Gareth Bale’s return to this pot and Real Madrid have a disaster in their hand right now.
It will be interesting to see how these events fold out for Real Madrid and if they will be able to land any player in the summer.
