Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane most likely to leave in the summer, paving the way for Julian Nagelsmann to become his successor
The man nicknamed as ‘Zizou’ is a fan favorite as a player and manager and has won titles for Real Madrid when they were on a barren run, and he is the first manager to win the Champions League three times in three years

Rumors are going around that Real Madrid manager Zidane Zidane is getting set to leave the job in the summer. Real Madrid have been vastly underperforming this season as they are 10 points behind Atletico Madrid in the title race with the latter having two games at hand. They scraped through to the round of 16 after having been underwhelming in their group stage of the Champions League. It would seem that Zinedine Zidane is leaving the dugout this summer and a new manager is likely to replace him.

Julian Naglesmann being targeted as the replacement of the Frenchman

Zinedine Zidane won 3 Champions League titles in a row while also winning one La Liga title in the two terms he has been as manager of the club. Zinedine Zidane has been painted as the savior of the club after the disastrous reign of Julian Lopetgui and Santiago Solari, but even he has finally hit an impasse. With expensive signings Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic not playing anywhere good enough and players like James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale not even being played, Zidane had only the youth to back on.

Players like Rodrygo and Vinicius were drafted into the club but they’ve been nowhere near consistent enough and Karim Benzema had to shoulder the responsibility of getting goals for the club. Now Real Madrid sit 10 points behind Atletico Madrid in the points table with the latter having two games in hand. The title could very well be out of their hands if Atletico manage to hold the lead through February to March.
