Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. is reportedly open to an offer of more than €1 billion from Saudi Arabia, and might consider a move to the middle-east. If he agrees to the transfer, he would earn 13 times his current salary.

Vinicius Jr., who moved from Flamengo to Real Madrid in 2018, has been one of the Los Blancos‘ most consistent performers. He has scored 83 goals in 264 appearances across all competitions, winning La Liga three times, the UCL, and the FIFA Club World Cup twice. Additionally, his outstanding performances last season have positioned him as a contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or award.

The 24-year-old Brazilian forward has received a massive €1 billion offer from Saudi PL side Al-Ahli. The offer includes a five-year contract worth €200 million per season and a potential ambassadorship for the 2034 World Cup. Although the player is content at Real Madrid, he has not completely dismissed the possibility of considering this lucrative proposal. Al-Ahli would need to pay his hefty buyout clause of €1 billion.

Moreover, a potential Vinicius Jr. transfer would mark the biggest Saudi PL deal till date. It would eclipse Neymar‘s €90 million transfer from PSG to Al-Hilal. Al-Ahli’s offer for Vinicius is comparable to the proposal made to Kylian Mbappe last summer.
