In the last few months of 2024, The Wyatt Sicks kickstarted a rivalry with The Miz and The Final Testament. The two factions battled it out a couple of times, exchanging wins in their encounters. However, their feud came to an abrupt end this year when Raw GM Adam Pearce revealed that they had moved to SmackDown. Since then, the faction has not appeared on the blue brand, with the reason behind their absence unknown.
Recently, Fightful Select provided an update on The Wyatt Sicks. As per WWE sources, the stable has been kept off television due to an injury-related issue. This news comes amidst the rumored standoff between WWE and Alexa Bliss. The latter was reportedly set to return and join the faction a few weeks ago. However, Bliss had reportedly asked for a new contract while the company wasn’t willing to negotiate for one.
As such, Fightful further mentioned that Bliss’ situation won’t affect The Wyatt Sicks’ long-term plans. If the former Women’s Champion’s situation does resolve soon, the faction could be headed toward a huge program at WrestleMania.
The Wyatt Sicks debuted last year in June, wreaking havoc on their first night in WWE. Moreover, the faction targeted Chad Gable, who had betrayed his Alpha Academy teammates. In the subsequent months, Gable recruited The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile to compete with the spooky stable.
Despite finding new teammates, Gable lost his rivalry with The Wyatt Sicks. The program did help the group become one of the most popular acts in WWE. Therefore, fans cannot wait to see what lies ahead for them amidst their ongoing absence.
The Miz moves to SmackDown amidst ongoing feud with The Wyatt Sicks
The ongoing transfer window in WWE has been an ambiguous one. Up until this week’s Raw, the company had not confirmed when it would end or how stars would be traded. Nonetheless, one of the names who switched brands was none other than The Miz.
The former WWE Champion became an official part of the SmackDown roster on last week’s episode. This meant that he was on the same brand as The Wyatt Sicks, who have unfinished business with him. Terrified by the situation and stranded alone without The Final Testament, Miz sought out help backstage.
Initially, it seemed like he would join forces with A-Town Down Under before Nick Aldis revealed that the duo had been traded to Raw. Now, Miz faces an uphill battle as he’ll look to tackle The Wyatt Sicks issue once the faction returns.
