LIV Golf
LIV Golf Invitational Event held at Centurion club London in June was a controversial topic for the sport with 48 rebel players participating for huge sums of money. Greg Norman’s Saudi-backed event has been gathering pace since the expulsion of Henrik Stenson as the captain of Europe’s Ryder Cup. After that week at the Centurion Club, the saga busted open with big-name stars joining the rebel group.
While many new stars have been joining the Saudi-backed venture, others have been kept aside. 9 of the total of 48 players who took the first tee in Hertfordshire were not present from the second event and have also not been granted a place to participate in the third event which is to be held in Bedminster from June 29.
