Chelsea skipper Reece James was most recently spotted having a hilarious chat in a meetup with former Blues star Eden Hazard. The two football stars were featured in a video shared by luxury London barbershop, A Star Barbers, on the internet.
Eden Hazard, who once captained Chelsea, retired from football last year at the age of 32. He was forced to bow out, after spending several seasons out with injury as well as failing to revive his form at Real Madrid.
The Belgian caught up with Reece James, the current Blues skipper, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. The pair once trained together, but never featured in Chelsea’s first team at the same time.
They spoke while getting a haircut at the popular barber shop frequented by several Premier League stars. The two reminisced about their days training together as well as Chelsea’s current form.
On the question of new Blues manager Enzo Maresca, James was full of praise for him. He also agreed that the club has been doing better under him.
Moreover, Hazard revealed that his son Leo was left depressed after the club’s poor display over the last two seasons when they finished 12th and 6th. Before leaving, James even asked Hazard to greet Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe on his behalf.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca provides an update on injured Reece James and Wesley Fofana
Blues manager Enzo Maresca provided a vital injury update on two squad members, skipper Reece James and center-back Wesley Fofana. Both defenders are currently spending their time on the sidelines due to hamstring issues.
The Italian revealed details of James’ recovery, stating that the 24-year-old would need time until January 2025 to return to full fitness. On Fofana, Maresca delivered some worrying news. The Frenchman could be sidelined for the next few weeks.
Maresca also spoke about midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, who currently is on loan at Southampton. He said that he was not sure if the club would recall the 20-year-old back to Stamford Bridge because of a lack of playing time.
