Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka made a fashion statement with her jellyfish-inspired outfit during the Australian Open. ATP ace Reilly Opelka‘s kit also went viral.
Opelka first knocked out Nicolai Budkov Kjær in straight sets in the first round but failed to outlast Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the following round. Although he was able to change the momentum by clinching the third and fourth sets, the match eventually ended in the Spaniard’s favor with a 6-3, 7-6 (3), 5-7, 4-6, 6-4 scoreline.
But in spite of the defeat, the American ace turned heads thanks to his Sease outfit. The tan and brown outfit had a price tag of $1,800. The polo shirt starts at $635, while the shorts start at $705 shorts. Adding these with the price of the cap ($410) makes the total amount to around $1,800.
The Italian sportswear brand was founded by brothers Franco and Giacomo Loro Piana in 2016. Opelka was previously sponsored by Fila. With Sease, it was only a product deal, as per Hard Court’s Jessica Schiffer.

Opelka once again crashed out of the Australian Open in the early rounds. The 28-year-old produced his best performance in the tournament when he reached the third round in 2022. Last year, his run ended in the second round.
His best Grand Slam performance came at the 2021 US Open when he progressed to the fourth round. Opelka, a four-time ATP titlist, hasn’t yet clinched a title since winning the 2022 U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships, which he won by defeating compatriot John Isner.
Since then, Opelka has made just one final. In last year’s Brisbane International, after knocking out 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals, Opelka later reached the final but was forced to give the walkover to Jiri Lehecka.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina analyzes his match against Reilly Opelka
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina secured his career’s second win over Reilly Opelka to improve his head-to-head record to 2-0. Fokina, who next will be squaring off against Tommy Paul, analyzed his five-set match at the press conference afterward.

Well, today, it was not easy match. He was serving very good today, first serve, second serve. The second serve was like the first serve, and he improved a lot. I didn’t expect that he improved a lot from the baseline, so he was putting more pressure in the return, and yeah, the first two sets, I think I play very good. He break me at the beginning of the third and fourth set. So he was more calm, and I was more tighter and tighter.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina said
Fokina met Paul four times, losing all. The last time they faced each other was in the fourth round of last year’s Australian Open.
Yeah, in the fifth set in the beginning again, I saved a couple of break points, and he didn’t give me any chance till the last game to have a break point or whatever. So it was tough one. It was not a physically match, but mentally, and guessing where’s going to serve because really he was serving unbelievably, and I was not seeing where he’s going to serve.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina added
Fokina, who has so far featured in five singles finals, has yet to win a trophy. Last year, he made the title clashes of the Mexican Open, Citi Open, and Swiss Indoors, losing them to Tomas Machac, Alex de Minaur, and Joao Fonseca.
Fokina is a one-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist. He made the last eight at the 2021 French Open. Last year, he produced his best Major performance in Melbourne, reaching the fourth round.
