Since taking over the creative realm, Triple H has proven to be more open to fan feedback than his predecessor, Vince McMahon. Over the past couple of years, the WWE on-screen product has massively improved due to such a simple step. Having said that, PWInsider revealed that Hunter often goes through his phone during live broadcasts.
According to the report, HHH scrolls through X and “pays very close attention” to fans’ feedback on the social media platform. Moreover, the head booker is open to not only the live audience’s complaints but also to the WWE Universe online. For months, fans have often speculated and joked about whether the CCO has a “burner” account on X. This kick started when the legend began to acknowledge some of the common memes seen on social media.
Having said that, a recent example of the new regime responding to fan backlash came before WrestleMania. After The Rock took Cody Rhodes‘ spot in the main event, the WWE Universe poured their hearts out for the latter. A ‘movement’ on X with #WeWantCody trending worldwide forced the company to change plans. It worked tremendously as Rock turned heel for the first time in two decades.
All of this culminated in a phenomenal two-night story, which ended with Rhodes finally finishing his story. Another instance of the former WWE Champion’s indulgence on social media saw him liking a post quoting Tony Khan, who accused WWE of tampering with AEW wrestlers’ contracts. Obviously, The Game would later retract the like. However, fans felt that the Cerebral Assassin jokingly reacted in his own way to the rival company’s CEO.
Fans hysterical after finding out about Triple H’s reported habit during live shows
As expected, the aforementioned report left fans hilariously suggesting new ideas for the product. Users online heaped praise on Triple H, noting that this is something Vince McMahon would never do. Meanwhile, others tagged the head booker and pitched for their favorite stars to win titles.
One fan hoped that Hunter saw their criticisms regarding the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa. Another user took a shot at the booking of Bayley‘s WWE Women’s Championship reign. Furthermore, a few fans took the opportunity to discuss the possibility of HHH handling a burner account.
Meanwhile, a user pleaded with the CCO to not have Karrion Kross on weekly television. All in all, the majority of the WWE Universe was ecstatic to see the new regime finally being open to their feedback and ideas.
