Retribution calls out WWE Raw’s women division
Hours after WWE went off-air WWE Network’s official Twitter handle released an exclusive footage. In the video Retribution member Reckoning is calling out WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka. That is not all. She also warns the entire WWE Raw’s Women division.
This is an interesting storyline to develop. Currently Asuka isn’t involved in any feud, and has been missing from WWE TV since the last couple of weeks. Reckoning calling out Asuka would allow Asuka to get screen time on upcoming episodes of Raw too. Additionally, an individual feud with obviously help Reckoning, if not the whole of Retribution.
Retribution leader Ali issues warning
Retribution leader, prior to the episode of Raw had announced that he will be turning the ship around. He was hinting that fans could see a change in storyline for Retribution.
But to the WWE Universe’s disappointment, the only appearance Retribution made was to attack Ricochet and Tucker. Ali stood on the commentary table, during Ricochet and Tucker’s match. Retribution came and attacked the two wrestlers post the match. This was the only segment Retribution was a part of.
After the Raw episode aired, Ali again took to Twitter to show what Retribution is capable of. If we go by these tweets, something big is coming up for Retribution. The group has failed to gain acceptance from the WWE Universe since their first appearance. They were involved in a rivalry with The Hurt Business. But they failed to win a single match in the rivalry.
Retribution’s road ahead on WWE Raw still remains a mystery. While Asuka is scheduled to face the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion, at Survivor Series.
