Ric Flair has stepped foot in the tornado of controversy yet again. While Hurricane Milton wreaks havoc in the parts of Florida, the Nature Boy made a controversial tweet online. Consequently, he faced massive outrage from people all over the internet which led him to delete the post.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to X to insensitively say that he cannot give $100,000 to the charity as of now. However, he wants to donate $1000 for the Hurricane Milton Relief. Meanwhile, he feels terrible for enjoying his fame, averred Flair. Therefore he would also like to share his drink Wooooo Energy with the disaster victims.
Although The Nature Boy claimed that his intentions were good, he faced severe outrage from the fans. This massive backlash caused Ric Flair to delete his post as soon as he could before making frustrating remarks. The 75-year-old went on to challenge his critics to match the amount of a $1000 donation if they think he was insensitive.
Besides, Hurricane Milton caused immense chaos all over Florida. Many facilities have faced severe damage because of the storm. WWE NXT Stars are also stranded in St. Louis because of the abrupt travel issues. Therefore, it is going to be a concern for WWE on how they are going to plan their shows amid this massive natural disaster.
Charlotte Flair reflected on having Ric Flair on WWE TV with her
Undoubtedly, Ric Flair has been a controversial name throughout his career. However, he had a pretty good stint with his daughter, Charlotte Flair in WWE in 2015-16. Speaking of that, The Queen recently spoke about how it felt having her father on WWE TV with her.
In an interview with Forever Young Podcast, Charlotte said that having her father by her side on-screen was competitive. She said that she always had a concern regarding if Flair would ever steal the spotlight away from her. Therefore, there was always a personal competition between the two during the stint.
Moreover, the 38-year-old admitted the fact that she has learned a lot from her father and she would always be grateful for it. Therefore, she has a dream of breaking her father’s 16-time World Championship record as well in her career. The former Women’s Champion claimed that Flair is supportive of her in this dream. Therefore, she looks forward to it pretty much.
