Samantha Irvin has become highly unfiltered ever since she left WWE. While she is more active in her tweets and replies, she rarely shares personal posts and her own photos anymore. However, she recently posted a photoshoot on her social media, and fans have been taken aback ever since.
In this new post that Samantha Irvin shared on Instagram, she looks almost unrecognizable with her wavy hair, make-up, and outfit. This post was made on her birthday on January 9th, and she thanked her fans for all the love that she had received. Furthermore, she also teased an exciting upcoming project.
One of the slides in Irvin’s Instagram post resembled an album cover with the title “Samantha The Bomb.” This musical project will be released this upcoming Valentine’s Day. When the 36-year-old left WWE, she talked about how she did not enjoy her role as a wrestling announcer. After leaving the promotion, she wanted to pursue her musical talent. Now, she has taken her first big step.
Many fans speculated that Irvin had left WWE to join her husband, Ricochet, in AEW. While she has been spotted backstage at AEW shows multiple times, it appears that she has no interest in the industry anymore. This latest step is simply a testament to her seriousness about her music career.
Ricochet comments on his and Samantha Irvin’s departure from WWE
Although Ricochet was always a mainstay on WWE television, he never broke the barrier into the main event scene and was always floundering around in the midcard. He left WWE in July 2024, and his fiancee followed suit three months later. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the Highlight of the Night talked about both of their departures from the company.
The former Intercontinental Champion said that he had a lot of respect for the promotion. He had put his heart and soul into making WWE a better place because of the love that he had for it. However, at the end of the day, he felt that he was not built for a place such as that.
I told her, ‘If you feel even half the way that I feel, I feel like this isn’t what I wanna do. I feel like I could be doing more as well,’ and that’s kind of why I left and she just feels like she could be doing more and honestly, maybe at the time, maybe she doesn’t want to do anything.

Ricochet had a conversation with the former Raw announcer, saying that this wasn’t what he wanted to do any longer. If she felt the same way, she could follow along. He felt that she could also be doing much more outside of the company, and that is why they left.
