Jey Uso has been one of the company’s biggest stars on Raw for quite some time now. He is popular with fans, and the WWE Universe never misses a chance to chant “Yeet” whenever he appears. However, the fact is, The Main Event hasn’t been able to win any singles championships in his career yet, despite receiving a huge push. Now, his father, Rikishi, has expressed his genuine opinion about his situation on social media.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to social media and shared a video of the crowd going bananas during his entrance. In addition to the crowd, Raw commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were also dancing to his theme song. Witnessing his status in the company, Rikishi advocated for his son to receive a major title opportunity and even asked fans to keep supporting him.
After achieving a huge victory over his brother Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania XL, he received a title shot against Damian Priest. However, he suffered a loss due to Judgment Day’s interference at Backlash in France. Then again, Jey Uso lost to Gunther in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament as well. As of now, he is involved in a storyline with Judgment Day and was happy that Rhea Ripley returned.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, he defeated Dominik Mysterio with a Uso Splash. The match was evenly poised, but the dynamics changed completely when Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley interfered. Even though he is not involved in the title picture right now, Jey is one of the most popular stars at the moment.
Booker T felt that WWE should put a rocket on Jey Uso ‘right now’
Along with his father, Rikishi, another Hall of Famer, Booker T, believes WWE should push Jey Uso to the top of the mountain. He has always been a fan of The Yeet Master since he was part of the tag team with Jimmy. King Booker expressed his honest opinion about the 38-year-old star.
While speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, the former world champion stated that Jey’s main event push was coming soon. He revealed that he had assured The Usos that WWE was going to push them into major roles soon. Booker T felt that now was the right time for the Stamford-based company to believe in Jey and put the title on him.
Of course, it’s gotta happen. They’re like one of the most decorated tag team champions of all time. I told those guys that was going to happen. Jey right now is super duper hot, so you gotta put the rocket on him sooner or later.Booker T on Jey Uso via the Hall of Fame podcast
The 59-year-old legend said that the way people were looking at Jey, he definitely felt like a world champion. Unfortunately, there has always been outside interference during his title matches. When he fought Gunther for the I.C. title, Jimmy ruined it by attacking him. Moreover, the ‘bad’ brother once again betrayed him in his world title match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam last year.
