“Go f**k yourself,” Rikishi launches a profane rant on former WWE writer for criticizing Jey Uso’s emotional moment on Raw
The Samoan Stinker has doubled down on a former head writer of WWE for his derision of Jey Uso's all-time career high.

Rikishi must’ve shed tears of joy the night his son Jey Uso won the Intercontinental Championship. The following week on Raw, Uso cut an emotional promo to describe what it meant to him. He was at a loss for words but didn’t miss out on giving a shoutout to his mother. Former WWE lead writer Vince Russo recently criticized Jey’s conduct on the Legion of Raw podcast.
Uso’s father has now unloaded on Russo for ridiculing The Yeet Master for getting emotional over his first singles title, which according to Vince is merely a prop. Rikishi, while speaking on ‘Off The Top’, dropped an F-bomb on Russo to begin with. The WWE HOF’er told the 63-year-old wrestling pundit that he doesn’t have the right to downplay his son’s milestone.
The Anoa’i family member alluded to the rocky terrain Jey’s walked on, putting in the work day in and day out for the past 17 years. Rikishi later asked Russo to come meet him face-to-face and talk it out in person, knowing that he couldn’t discern the grandeur encircling Jey Uso‘s breakout moment.
Fatu kept blustering for minutes, and it seemed like he could’ve gone on for an entire day. Nonetheless, it doesn’t need to be documented how passionate Rikishi is about his children inside the squared circle. He was the one who kept calling out WWE when Jey was in the midst of a lean patch on Raw.
Not only that, the 59-year-old also took offense to Jey’s romantic ties with Rhea Ripley. But he waived off the discontentment and even joined The Eradicator in her celebration of Uso’s historic IC title triumph.
Was Rikishi aware of Jimmy Uso’s return at Bad Blood beforehand?
Earlier this month, at Bad Blood, Jimmy Uso made his long-awaited return to WWE. He took out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa at ringside to help even up the odds for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
Speaking of what Rikishi thought about it, the WWE legend was nothing but a proud father, as he detailed on his podcast. The former Too Cool member had previously expressed concerns about Jimmy’s health. However, seeing him pop up in Atlanta with the sold-out crowd going bonkers was everything he wished for.
Rikishi was the one who asked his elder son to keep him in the dark about his WWE future. Fatu wanted to experience it unfold in real time. Had Jim notified his pops that he was coming back at Bad Blood, it’d have mitigated the impact by some inches.
