Listen, Dominic Calvert-Lewin for me, I love him. I’ve watched a lot of Everton this year and he’s one that unnerves defenders. He’s not one you want to play against week in, week out. He’s aggressive, he attacks the ball. I was speaking to Carlo Ancelotti earlier this year and he mentioned [Filippo] Inzaghi and said he didn’t need many chances to score goals and he scores goals in and around the six-yard box.

The Merseyside striker has scored 14 goals in Premier League in 25 starts in the 2020/21 season. The player has 6 G/A in other competitions for Everton as well. A predator of the ball by nature, Calvert Lewin also fits Manchester United’s English player criteria. It remains interesting to see whom the club will end up with. The club are said to be in contact with Cavani and his agents to negotiate one more with the Old Trafford-based outfit.
