Amidst recent revelation about the former New England Patriots head coach dating a 24-year-old cheerleader, Rob Gronkowski’s roast set resurfaced—particularly his jab at Bill Belichick. 

During Tom Brady’s Netflix Roast, Gronkowski took a jibe at the legendary head coach, which seemed to be a hint at him dating a 24-year-old cheerleader, Jordon Hudson. However, it wasn’t taken seriously, as Belichick’s relationship was wrapped under the sheets. 

Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked. But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.

He also emphasized the age difference between the 72-year-old head coach and Hudson, though he did not mention her directly.

Judging by Gronkowski’s sarcastic joke aimed at the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach, he knew about his relationship long before it was officially revealed to the world by TMZ Sports. There have also been reports that Belichick had already started seeing Hudson before he split up with Linda Holliday.

Belichick and Hudson were reported to have known each other since 2021 after they met on a connecting flight from Boston to Florida, as one of Hudson’s former cheerleading teammates revealed to TMZ. At that time, Hudson was an entrepreneur and student-athlete and she got close to Belichick over a philosophy project.

Hudson often discussed her academic projects and cheerleading routines with him, while he was still coaching the Patriots. As their relationship took forward, Belichick split up with his long-time girlfriend– since 2007– Linda Holliday. 

TMZ also reported that Belichick attended a cheerleading competition to support Hudson, in Maryland in March, following his departure from the Patriots after 24 years. Hudson also attended Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction to be with Belichick.
