UFC 300 was a wrap! What a night it was for MMA fans! As the night progressed, each card got more and more intense, and all of them were equally competitive and entertaining.
Fight night always brings the brightest of stars who attend ringside and enjoy the thrilling experience. UFC 300 was no different, as the likes of Mike Tyson, Mark Zuckerberg, and Kyler Murray were present.
Prominent analysts from top networks such as ESPN were in attendance too. Robert Griffin III, a former NFL quarterback turned ESPN commentator, attended the fight-night bout with his wife, Grete Griffin. While he enjoyed the undercard and other bouts, RGIII, just like the fans, was looking forward to the main card between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.
As the rounds progressed and in the final moments of the fight, Holloway dropped Gaethje with a vicious round of punches.
This ending had fans watching the bout in the arena and at home respond in similar fashion to Robert Griffin III. The former Ravens QB could not believe the finish and posted his live reaction to the ending, where his wife and he were left baffled.
Robert Griffin III did not expect UFC 300 to end in this fashion
He posted his reaction on X and captioned it with “Ohhhhhh myyyyyy GAWD!!!!! #ufc300.” Well, that final knockout had everyone reacting in similar fashion.
Max Holloway went toe-to-toe with Justin Gaethje and made a split-second decision to challenge him to come to the center of the octagon in the final seconds of the fight.
He then proceeded to shower a vicious combination of punches, which ultimately led to Gaethje falling flat on his face with two seconds left.
Max Holloway’s finish is bound to go down in UFC history as one of the most clutch finishes. He now holds the BMF title, and the fashion in which he earned his stripes will go down as one of the coldest moves. This move is up there right next to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bullying of Conor McGregor and McGregor’s one-shot KO of Jose Aldo.

The other cards from UFC 300 did not disappoint either. Alex Poatan Pereira continued his dominance in the Octagon with a spectacular first-round knockout of Jamahal Hill.
The Brazilian beast had one of the best celebrations of the night as he managed to wave off Herb Dean and KO Hill in a span of 10 seconds. The female matchup was entertaining as Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan fought through, and the former won the bout through a unanimous decision.
