Robert Lewandowski did not have the best of seasons with FC Barcelona this year. The Polish striker was far from his best as he scored 26 goals and set up another 9 from 49 appearances. Lewandowski was often criticized throughout the season for his ‘poor’ form and inability to score in crucial moments. As of now, the player is also linked with a move away from the club.
A significant rumor surrounding the player involves Jose Mourinho and his recent move to Turkish club Fenerbahce. As per reports, the Portuguese is attempting to bring in the No.9 as his marquee signing for his new chapter in Turkey. However, the 35-year-old has outright denied any links to a move away from Barcelona.

A move to Fenerbahce? The club hasn't contacted me. I don't know anything about it.Robert Lewandowski said in an interview
The No.9 was unable to orchestrate a strong title defense with his teammates as Real Madrid finished the La Liga season with a ten-point lead over their rivals. As it stands, Lewandowski has two more years left on his FC Barcelona contract.
Robert Lewandowski shines light on potential retirement
Former Bayern Munich star and Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski certainly sits at the very top when it comes to being one of the best strikers of his generation. As the forward completes his second season with the Blaugrana, it is undeniable that age has caught up with the No.9.

However, despite all the rumors, it is upto the player to decide whether it’s time to hang up his boots. Speaking about the same, Lewandowski clarified his plans on potentially retiring from professional football.
My heart will tell me that. Before making that decision, I must feel something myself. I don't know when it will happen. Now, I don't have it.Robert Lewandowski said in an interview
Lewandowski’s former teammate and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos called time on his club career a few days ago after lifting his record sixth UEFA Champions League title with Real Madrid. When quizzed on whether he also had similar plans, Lewandowski insisted that he’s feeling good physically and that all the hard work and effort he’s put into his career is still paying off. Barcelona have appointed Lewandowski’s former manager Hansi Flick to bring back the club to its former state of glory.
