Robert Roode shares his opinion on a controversial title change

Robert Roode has been currently appearing on WWE TV as a part of a tag team with Dolph Ziggler. They are currently the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. Roode recently praised the work of The Street Profits as an entertaining team. But Roode is still unsure that why Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford were simply handed the titles in October 2020.
The Street Profits were earlier a part of the Raw brand, but they were drafted to Smackdown. On the other hand. The New Day were drafted from Smackdown to Raw. The two teams decided to just swap their titles as they were moving to a different brand.
Robert Roode recently appeared for an interview with SK Wrestling. He complimented The Street Profits a lot but questioned the controversial title swapping.
“We think The Street Profits are a great team. They’re very entertaining, we get it. They’re everything that WWE wants out of their guys. They’re entertaining, they make people laugh, make people smile. They shake hands, they kiss babies, we get it, right? They’re athletic, young guys, but they’re great former Champions…But let’s face it, they came over to SmackDown and they were handed the Championships. I don’t ever remember a time when a team was just handed a Championship and all of a sudden they become Champions.”
Smackdown Tag Team roster
The tag team roster on Smackdown currently looks completely stacked. There are 4 active tag teams from the men’s roster. No match has officially been announced yet for the Smackdown Championship.
Rey – Dominik Mysterio, The Street Profits and The Alpha Academy are all in contention for the Smackdown Tag Team titles. Who will get a shot at the title at Wrestlemania remains to be seen,
