Manchester City and Spanish midfielder Rodrigo Hernandez is one of the best in the business in his position. The 28-year-old also bagged the Player of the Tournament award at UEFA Euro 2024 as La Roja claimed the title over The Three Lions. As he turned heads at the PFA awards ceremony, the player picked his GOAT.

Much to the surprise of fans, Rodri’s GOAT was neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Lionel Messi. The Spaniard named teammate Kevin De Bruyne as the greatest of all time, although the Belgian himself has picked Ronaldo as the player he’d like to play with in the past. De Bruyne and Rodri rule the midfield for Pep Guardiola‘s side and will be elemental to his plans if the men in blue are to defend their Premier League title once again.

That being said, Rodri also appeared to ‘annoy’ Arsenal players on the podium when he claimed that ‘mentality’ played a huge part in winning. Rodri stirred up quite the commotion among Arsenal supporters as he ridiculed Arsenal’s mentality last season. He pointed out that the Gunners played for a draw instead of trying to win when the two sides met in the previous campaign. City ended up winning the League by a margin of just two
