Roger Federer has always reiterated that he loves being at Wimbledon and probably not as a spectator. Out of his 20 Grand Slam titles, he won eight on the grass courts of Wimbledon. A few weeks before this year’s tournament kicks off, the 42-year-old revealed that he may attend, as his kids have been putting pressure on him to go with the whole family.
In a recent Instagram livestream, Federer admitted he wasn’t originally planning on going to the tournament, but his kids convinced him to.
I’m making plans. The kids are pushing me again. I’m happy at home, but the kids said ‘no, we want to go to Wimbledon this year, you went without us last year,’ so then we go to Wimbledon. So most likely I’ll be there, I don’t know if I’m going to watch any matches, but I’ll be in the Wimbledon village, so try to spot me there.Roger Federer said
Roger Federer also revealed that his children—twin girls Charlene and Myla, 15, and twin boys Leo and Lenny, 10—now play tennis. While admitting that the girls also love skiing, he mentioned that the boys also love soccer.

The Swiss legend has some of the most remarkable victories in Wimbledon. He had one of his best records there, 96 wins and 12 losses. He won the tournament from 2003-2007 before losing to Rafael Nadal in the 2008 final. However, one of his most iconic victories in Wimbledon was in 2012.
The 42-year-old had a slump in 2011 and was unable to win any Grand Slam for the first time since 2003. However, he proved his doubters wrong by beating Andy Murray 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 in the iconic final to win the Wimbledon title. Last year, he received a noble standing ovation in the Royal Box while participating in the 100th anniversary of the competition.

Although he has been seen training on the court, he has no intention of returning to the sport. However, he sometimes visits his friends and extended tennis family during tournaments.
I’m missing tennis, of course I am. But I’m still playing sometimes. Not on a centre court, but I follow it a lot, I miss it, that’s why I sometimes come back to the games, see my friends and my extended tennis family.Roger Federer said
