Tennis icon Roger Federer was spotted at Taylor Swift‘s concert in Zurich, Switzerland on Tuesday. The Swiss Maestro has returned to his home nation after enjoying a fabulous week at Wimbledon.

Federer hasn’t shied away from the fact that he is a great fan of music. Last year, before coming to Wimbledon, he attended a Coldplay concert where the band brought him on stage and made him part of their show.

Federer was seen in the stands of SW19, watching a few matches. He met Andy Murray before Murray’s men’s doubles match on his Wimbledon farewell. Moreover, the Swiss icon was also pictured with former Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar.

It has been a busy time for Federer despite not being a professional tennis player anymore. The former World No.1 retired from professional tennis at the Laver Cup in 2022 but has been involved in multiple projects since. One of those was the ‘Federer: Last Twelve Days’ documentary, which showcased the last days of his professional tennis career. The documentary can be seen on Amazon Prime.

Roger Federer gutted to miss Andy Murray’s farewell

20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer spoke to Andy Murray before his final men’s doubles match. The Swiss Maestro chose not to go to Centre Court to avoid overshadowing the ceremony.

Federer visited the All-England Club last Wednesday. He recorded a video tribute for Murray, his fellow Wimbledon champion.

Novak Djokovic, John McEnroe, and Martina Navratilova appeared on Centre Court after the match. However, Federer did not join them.

MC Sue Barker mentioned the eight-time Wimbledon champion while listing champions present. Tournament director Jamie Baker confirmed Federer saw Murray before the match. The All-England Club was ready to honor Murray, but needed his approval. The Australian Open had played a tribute video in 2019, but the three-time Grand Slam champion played for another five years.
