Tennis legend Roger Federer might have retired from the sport but continues to make headlines. Recently, the Swiss legend took the world by storm by attending the premiere of his new documentary “Federer: Twelve Final Days, which showed his journey to the final days on tour.
Directed by Asif Kapadia and Joe Sabia, the documentary shows the behind-the-scenes of the last couple of weeks in Federer’s career. From the talks off the court to the iconic scene of Rafael Nadal crying alongside Federer, the documentary will capture the emotional final moments of the legend in the sport.
Moreover, they also feature interviews with Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and a few family members. Amazon Prime has also released the trailer for the iconic documentary, which has left fans emotional.
The trailer gave a small glimpse of the documentary and was perfectly tailored to keep the audience interested till the end. The trailer also had footage of his triumphs, including the title wins in Wimbledon from 2003 to 2007.
Moreover, there was also a scene of Djokovic saying “Roger’s legacy will be forever”. Federer, who does not like cameras on his face, was rather surprised by the outcome of the documentary and is excited to present it in front of the fans on June 20th.

Earlier today, Roger Federer attended the premiere of his new documentary “Federer: Twelve Final Days” in New York. The renowned actor Mario Lopez and other big names joined him for the screening. While the release date had not yet been announced then, Amazon Prime later made the confirmation that it will be on June 10th.
The whole tennis world cried for Federer, when the Swiss legend played his last professional game, and they are sure to do the same while watching the documentary. Here are some comments from the fans.
