Roger Federer recently sent hilarious compliments to Coldplay on the release of their latest single, “Feels Like I’m Falling In Love.” The Swiss tennis icon has been associated with the band since he joined them on stage in Zurich last year.

Recently, the British rock band Coldplay released their new single, the lead track on their “Moon Music” album. Its music video is set to become the most expensive of all time. Federer recently posted an Instagram video of himself listening to the song at home.

He also jokingly put a small shaker in front of the screen, apologizing to the band for not being able to collaborate. Federer placed the shaker as a form of musical instrument, which he jokingly said that he forgot to make it to the studio.

There is a history behind the shaker as well. Federer had played the shaker when he was invited onto the stage with Coldplay in Zurich. It was a loved collaboration between the former tennis player and the music band where Federer hilariously stated that he had finished his music career on top

Federer drew parallels between tennis and life and explained that the challenges remain the same and it is one’s resilience that gets them through. He revealed that in his career; he won 1,526 singles matches and won nearly 80% of them.

However, he then posed an important question to the audience, asking them to guess the percentage of points he won. It was a mere 54% of points won.

In other words, even top-ranked tennis players win barely more than half of the points they play. The Truth is, whatever game you play in life, sometimes you are going to lose. A point, a match, a season, a job.
