WATCH: Roger Federer spotted in the Swiss Alps

Roger Federer is probably the biggest name in the history of tennis. Such was his impact in the first decade of the 21st century, that tennis became a global sport. He currently has 20 grand slams to his name and is gunning for his 21st this year.

He had earlier said that he is primarily focusing on Wimbledon and the Tokyo Olympics this year. But the Swiss maestro has decided to hit the red dirt too this season. He will be playing at home in Geneva next week before playing the French Open.

Recently, Federer endorsed the ‘Switzerland tourism campaign’ in which he was spotted in the Swiss Alps. He shared the screen with American actor Robert DeNiro.

Roger Federer has many times advertised for the Swiss Tourism and his back with an interesting concept again. Federer was seen in a house amidst the Alps talking about the prime time in Switzerland. He also indirectly endorsed the indigenous activities of Paragliding and Skiing in the Alps.

Switzerland tourism put out a short teaser and asked fans to guess whom Federer was calling. According to the poll on twitter, fans guessed South African Charlize Theron is calling him, but in the main video, it was revealed that American actor Robert DeNiro was calling Federer.

On the tennis front, Federer will begin his Clay court swing in Geneva next week. He will also compete at Roland Garros later.
