Well, I know it's your last day on the professional tour. I am very sad to get to do this video, honestly, because you are one of the most…the player that the locker room loves the most for your character, for your charisma, and for the way that you have been always with me, personally, and with the rest of the players. I enjoyed a lot being a rival, and being a good colleague on the tour. I think we shared some great moments together. I just wanted to congratulate you for everything.
Rafael Nadal said in the video shared by ATP.

Nadal wished Murray the best for his future and hoped for the Briton to have great fun with his family in his retirement.

Hey Andy, many, many congratulations, my friend, on an incredible career. Wimbledon champion, US Open champion, Davis Cup champion, Olympic champion, and many more things you have achieved... just from my side, Andy, you have so much respect. Loved playing against you, even though I've lost so many times against you, and it was brutal. But congrats on everything you have achieved and everything that's to come.

Djokovic also paid tribute to Murray and lauded him for his fighting spirit. He talked about the challenges the Briton faced in his career and how he overcame them to keep going. The 24-time Grand Slam champion hailed his rival as a great inspiration.

You can be proud of the incredible resilience and fighting spirit and inspiration that you give to all of us, really. After all the hardship that you went through, surgery, restrictions in your movement, you still kept going. You still have shown to everyone that there's no letting go, no giving up. Kudos to you and all the best to you and your family, and you deserve the best possible farewell.

Notably, while Murray had special connections with many players on the men’s tour, the Big Three was an integral part of his career. In fact, Murray’s grit and determination saw it be renamed as the Big Four. The Briton retires with 11 wins each against Federer and Djokovic and seven wins against Nadal.

In case you missed!
