India have to win the final ODI to level the series

India’s batting has crumbled in slow Sri Lankan wickets in the ODI series. The team was rejuvenated with the return of senior players like Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul. However, everyone barring Sharma has struggled to get going in this series.

In the first game, India failed to score 1 run of the final 14 balls with one wicket in hand, as the match ended in a tie. Sharma was the lone performer for Team India who scored 58 runs off 47 balls and thrilled the onlookers with his aggressive approach in the powerplay. However, the other Indian batters struggled to get going against the crafty Sri Lankan spinners on a slow turning track.

In the second ODI, India failed to chase down a target of 241 runs. The Indian captain was brilliant yet again with an innings of 64 runs off 44 balls. However, it was the same case for the rest of the batters yet again. India have to win the final ODI to level the series.
