In the latest ICC player rankings, Indian opener Rohit Sharma has stormed into the top 10 among batsmen. Rohit has been in great touch following a no-show in the series opener against England. He has been the top scorer for India in their last two Tests and the result showed in the rankings as he jumped four places. Ever since he has started opening the innings in Tests, he has been unstoppable with his average at home is close to 90.

Among batsmen, Cheteshwar Pujara is the lone name who dropped in the top 10. Following a duck in the pink ball Test, he slipped two places to finish 10th on the list. Barring the Indian duo, there have been no changes in the top ten of the list. Kane Williamson continues to reign supreme with 919 points. The Australian duo of Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne make up the top three.
