AS Roma and Inter Milan are in talks over a swap deal including Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez. The move is reportedly a short-term move until the end of the season.
Edin Dzeko had a fallout with manager Paulo Fonseca last week following an elimination their elimination in the Coppa Italia . Dzeko has decided to sit out of training with the first team and is absolutely not happy with the situation at hand.

Roma coach initially proposed a loan deal for Dzeko looking to offload the striker. Sanchez has not started a match for Inter since their defeat against Sampdoria.
Dzeko is one of Roma’s most important players. He has scored 8 goals in 20 appearances for Roma in this season. He has a minor injury but has trained alone since his argument with the manager.
The Chilean forward Sanchez, 32, has scored two goals in 19 appearances for Inter. The biggest obstacle facing Inter and Roma is the €3 million gap in Sanchez and Dzeko’s salaries before tax, with the Chilean earning less.
Roma must decide whether they wish to bridge this gap somehow within the deal, because Inter cannot afford to add an extra €3 million to their wage bill between now and the end of the season.
Dzeko only recently signed a new contract with the club that saw him extend his stay till 2022. Apart from the Alexis Sanchez rumours, there are no other clubs interested in a striker having Dzeko’s profile right now.
