Ron Harper bats for LeBron James after rumors of NBA covering up Biogenesis investigation resurface
Many have questioned if Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has resorted to PEDs to have a sustained stellar career.

Ron Harper and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James
The world over, fans have marveled at LeBron James‘ longevity. Where usually athletes play 16 seasons at best, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is currently in year 22. What stuns fans day in and day out is that he has still not slowed down.
The only other basketball star to play 22 seasons is Vince Carter. But he did not average anything near the 24.9 points, 8 rebounds and 8.5 assists the Akron native has achieved. That is MVP level basketball, leaving fans stunned at his conditioning and approach to the game.
Those statistics though, have raised questions on if the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is honest about his approach to work. That is after some have claimed that they know that the superstar uses performance enhancing drugs. Otherwise, one cannot explain how a 40-year-old is doing things no other player has done.
In 2013, the DEA investigated LeBron James as part of their biogenesis probe. It came about after trainer David Alexander and Ernest “Randy” Mims, a longtime friend and business manager of the Lakers superstar, were suspected to have given James PED’s.
New evidence suggests that the NBA tried covering up the link between LeBron and the Biogenesis investigation with James' camp declining ESPN's request to interview him despite providing applicable information to back up their questioning. 🤔

However, the DEA confirmed that LeBron James had not done anything wrong. Rather, Alexander and Mims had bought drugs for their personal use. The DEA found that Alexander and Savannah James, wife of the four-time NBA champion, were business partners.
But then, there was no evidence to suggest that she had received the PEDs before handing them over to her husband. However, the PBD Podcast had discussed this when James’ name was revealed in an ESPN article in 2023. A clip of that discussion has now resurfaced.
Ron Harper slams X account for slandering LeBron James’ name
An X handle by the name of NBA Strife reposted the PBD Podcast discussion. Fans who saw this post slammed the handle for bringing this topic back even though the DEA cleared LeBron James of any wrongdoing. But the loudest was Ron Harper, who recently slammed James for his media criticism.
I’m over this BS let the kid play basketball and enjoy how good he has been over his career.
Ron Harper wrote
Harper believes this particular X page, that clearly mentions that he believes Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant to be the ultimate basketball players, was trying to rile up unnecessary hate. Now in the backdrop of James’ 50K points achievement, the GOAT debate has again come back to life.

Ron Harper believes once the DEA has cleared LeBron James, there is no point bringing such discussions up. Rather, fans should appreciate the Los Angeles Lakers superstar for how good he has been for this long.
