Ronaldo slams Covid test as he misses the match with Barca

Juventus face FC Barcelona without Ronaldo in a huge champions league fixture. Ronaldo is rightly upset about this and voiced his concern on Instagram. He feels that he has successfully recovered from the Coronavirus but the PCR test says otherwise. Moreover, fans are also upset as they will miss seeing Ronaldo vs Messi in action after a long time.

Feeling good and healthy – Ronaldo

Cristiano was so desperate to be fit for the match that he travelled to Italy from Portugal despite testing positive for corona. Moreover, the player is in asymptomatic condition and feels that he has recovered. Ronaldo even put out a statement on Instagram saying, “feeling good and healthy”. However, he also added a comment bashing PCR and said, “PCR IS BULLSH*T” which he later deleted.

Ronaldo does feel cheated by the PCR tests but it’s important to note that Corona does take time to completely recover even though the person is in asymptomatic condition. Also, the safety of other players and staff are more important than a single person playing. Moreover, Italy sports minister has also opened investigations against Ronaldo for allegedly breaking protocol by travelling to Italy while testing positive for Corona.

Nevertheless, Juve and Pirlo must now devise a plan to beat Barcelona in the Champions League. Barcelona are looking vulnerable after losing 3-1 against Real Madrid and Juventus must look to pounce on this.
