If I wrestle from now on, I’m just gonna do it on like an indie show where I can wrestle for as long as I want and prepare for as long as I want, and do whatever moves I wanna do and just do it with my friends and take all the anxiety out of it because it’s just so needlessly stressful and dangerous, the way they do it.

Ronda Rousey thinks Vince McMahon is still controlling things in WWE

Ronda Rousey has been quite outspoken about WWE. With Triple H in charge of the company right now, it is considered that he is leading the programming currently. However, what the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ thinks is completely different from that of the other, as she claims that Vince McMahon is still running things in WWE.

In an interview with the Diary of CEO Rowdy One, it was stated that WWE used to make last-minute decisions, which led to many injuries during the era of Mr. McMahon. The belief backstage was that the roster was expendable. However, the thing is, although McMahon is officially out of WWE, he is still controlling the company through Bruce Prichard.

When the stuff came out, and Vince was gone before, he was still basically just calling it in and running the company. Like Bruce Prichard — who’s there now — is basically just taking orders from Vince and still running the company through him… He was still running the company informally. And I think he still is to this day.

Furthermore, it is quite informal to have him control the product through Prichard. However, Rousey thinks this is the case. It is not the first time since the former Women’s Champion has made a bold statement against WWE. As for McMahon, he left the company right after the Janel Grant controversy in January 2024.
