I think it already has been. You know, I think it already has been diminished… YouTube is like golf entertainment adjacent, whatever. Those guys are killing it. They found a niche and it’s really cool and it serves a purpose for a lot of people.

Rory McIlroy said

In the press conference before the event, the 4-time major champion thus pointed out that with too much golf content, fans may get ‘fatigued’. He would drop a bold suggestion to the tour and tell them to scale back some events from their schedule.

The golf consumer might get a little fatigued of everything that’s sort of available to them. So to scale it back a little bit… might not be a bad thing.

Rory McIlroy added

This year, several LIV Golf events will once again go head-to-head with the PGA Tour events. The last three events of the 54-hole circuit will be played in the United States when the FedEx Cup playoffs begin.

Apart from this four LIV events will compete directly with three signature PGA Tour events. When The Players Championship kicks off in TPC Sawgrass, LIV Golfers will be in Singapore for LIV Golf Singapore event, leading to a clash of viewership among golf fans.

Winning the Masters, winning an Olympic medal and another away Ryder Cup, they are my three goals for the rest of my career.
