Taylor Swift is set to have a very hostile welcome in New Orleans during Super Bowl LIX in February. The Philadelphia Eagles fans have prepared something special for the pop icon.

Swift became a person of interest for the Eagles fans because she dates Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The two began dating in 2023 and she even attended the Super Bowl LVIII win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl for the third straight year (fifth appearance in six years). Swift, meanwhile, increased the Chiefs’ popularity around the globe and the Philly fans aren’t too thrilled about it. A section often accuses the NFL of rigging the games in the Chiefs’ favor so Swift can be present in more games and they see an increase in viewership.

Furthermore, before going over to the Chiefs side, Swift grew up in Philadelphia. Her dad, Scott Swift was an Eagles fan, and she too had been seen wearing the Green Nation gear in the past. Nowadays, even Scott tags along with Taylor to watch Chiefs games.

The Swift family needs to buckle up because the Eagles fans will distribute ‘F**k Taylor Swift’ t-shirts during tailgating as a form of protest.

The Eagles fans are a passionate bunch and extremely emotional about their team, so it doesn’t take much to light a fire in them. The Commanders fans found out after losing them in the NFC title game. Several were made fun of in the name of banter and one enthusiastic youngster passed away after falling down from a high ground. A new video showed a YouTuber wearing Commanders gear facing taunts from Eagles fans.

During last year’s Super Bowl, chatter engulfed the internet that Kelce might propose to Swift after lifting the Lombardi Trophy. However, the Chiefs defeated the 49ers; Kelce and Swift kissed on the field, but there was no exchange of rings.

Even during the past year, neither has shown much interest in announcing the good news like Josh Allen & Hailee Steinfeld. As Super Bowl LIX comes closer, the chatter is growing on social media once again and Kelce can shut the Eagles fans down by going down on his knee and proposing to Swift.

However, popular trend guru and SiriusXM contributor Matt Perault believes it will be a mistake on Kelce and Swift’s part.

If this happens – the whole relationship is PR stunt like I feared. No way Taylor wants this done in public given her desire for privacy needs.

Perhaps this was the reason Kelce did not go through with it. Additionally, the 35-year-old has zero intention of hanging up his boots. Swift wants him to continue, and there’s always Tony Gonzalez’s record to look forward to.
