“Showed me how to lose,” 23-year-old star brutally mocks Bayley after latter suffers devastating championship loss on SmackDown

Many fans wondered what lay ahead for Roxanne Perez heading into 2025. However, no one speculated that WWE would plant seeds of a feud between her and Bayley as early as January. The tension between the wrestling veteran and the rising star grew thicker after the latest episode of SmackDown.
The main event of the episode featured Bayley challenging Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship after her victory in a fatal-4-way #1 contender’s match last week. This show also featured Perez sitting in the front row. During the match, the challenger found herself outside the ring and engaging in a verbal spat with the 23-year-old, although they did not get physical unlike this week.
Later in the match, Stratton countered a Roseplant to land an Alabama Slam on her challenger. She capitalized on this advantage, landed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and retained her championship with a pinfall victory. After the show went off the air, Perez took a shot at her nemesis on social media.

Perez recently lost her NXT Women’s Championship after an impressive 276-day reign to Giulia at NXT: New Year’s Evil. It seems the promotion is preparing to fast-track her to the main roster and may not wait until this year’s Draft. She could make her presence felt as soon as February 1st, potentially entering the women’s Royal Rumble match and establishing herself as a regular competitor on SmackDown thereafter.
Roxanne Perez invites Bayley to the next episode of NXT on Tuesday Night
These two superstars are clearly still not done with each other following the latest episode of SmackDown. Roxanne Perez is interested in continuing this mini-rivalry with Bayley and, thus, invited the 35-year-old to her home turf of NXT this following week.
In a SmackDown digital exclusive interview after the show, Perez said that she was excited to come to the blue brand and have a front-row seat to watch Bayley fail. She said that she always considered herself to be a huge fan of the Role Model. However, it was the other way around, considering that the 35-year-old showed up on her show, stuck her nose where it didn’t belong and even had a physical confrontation.
Come on down. Come back and maybe this time around, I can give you some notes on how to be a champion since I don’t think you got it anymore.

Perez further claimed that Bayley no longer has what it takes to be a champion anymore. Thus, she wanted her to come back to the developmental brand so that The Prodigy could teach her a thing or two.
