It hasn’t been the best of times for Manchester United as they suffered another defeat in the ongoing Premier League. If positive results against Liverpool and Arsenal provided them hope, they were jolted to a rude awakening against Brighton. A 3-1 pounding courtesy of goals from Yankuba Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter extracted very strong words from Ruben Amorim.
Talking in the post-match presser, the Portuguese manager inflicted a damning label on the current squad. Not only did he dish out a hard-hitting assessment of the team but he also underlined the woes of the fans. He also explained that his introduction came with hopes but consecutive defeats sparked fears of survival from Ruben Amorim.

Ever since Ruben Amorim took over the club, Manchester United has amassed only 11 league points. The numbers predict a pretty gloomy future that might contest their worst finish in the Premier League. Fears of relegation also loom large with United sitting on 26 points from 22 games which places them in the 13th position.
Marcus Rashford wants to start for Manchester United again – report
In a report published by BBC, Marcus Rashford wants to feature in Manchester United’s XI once again. When Ruben Amorim was asked after defeat to Brighton about the status of Rashford, he stated that it was Rashford’s choice. The statement from Amorim suggested the fact that Rashford might have sought not to be considered for the playing XI.
However, the report states that closer sources to Marcus Rashford has made it clear that the 27-year-old wants to play for Manchester United again. In fact, it is also believed that the English sensation has no spat with Ruben Amorim and is willing to don the threads of the club again if asked to.
But the most recent report has stated that despite wanting to start again, Rashford might leave England should he strike a good deal in La Liga. Barcelona is said to be a possible destination for Englishmen.
