Besides the fact that he led Sporting to two Primeira Liga titles in four years, he also happens to be the former teammate of United legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The two shared the pitch for the Portuguese National team years back, with the former even calling Amorim a ‘poet’ in the past.

With Amorim’s arrival complete and the club set to go into the new era, fans have begun to wonder why Ronaldo gave Amorim the title of ‘poet’.
