Green Bay Packers made their quarterback Jordan Love the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL by signing a $220 million extension for four years. However, not everyone thought it was deserved to argue that the quarterback still has a long way to go, except analyst Ryan Clark, who predicted a bold future for the team with Love in the lead.
During the latest episode of ESPN’s Get Up show, the former NFL player expressed great confidence in the Packers’ star quarterback– who led the team to a Super Bowl victory in his debut season as a starter.
Clark is so impressed by the Utah State alum that he claimed that the Packers can have more success with Love in the lead, than compared to former star quarterbacks Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. He even predicted that the signal-caller would lead his team to the Super Bowl this coming 2024 season.
I think the most important thing for Jordan Love is he can be the best quarterback in the NFC. I think that is a very easy goal or feasible goal for him to reach. He can be in the Super Bowl as well but I believe right now, with where Jordan Love in this team is positioned The Green Bay Packers can have more success as a team with Jordan Love than they did under Brett Favre or with Aaron Rodgers.Ryan Clark said
The sports analyst argued that as great as Favre and Rodgers were, each won only one Super Bowl ring but Love will have the opportunity to win more.
Ryan Clark compares Jordan Love’s potential to Patrick Mahomes
At present post Tom Brady NFL era, the best quarterback in the league is considered to be the Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes. As in his seven years with the team, he led them to six consecutive AFC championship games, and four Super Bowls and won three of them. While highlighting Love’s potential, Clark recalled how when he came out of Utah State, the Packers quarterback was said to have Mahomes’ level of potential.

I don’t think I really, at that point, recognize it but as I watched him play down the stretch of the season, he was fearless, he protected the ball and he was athletic when he needed to be. I believe he can have a better career there from team’s success wise.Ryan Clark said
Additionally, analyst Clark not only appreciated Love’s arm strength and accuracy but also highlighted his unique trait which isn’t seen in many players in his position: fearlessness.
