It appears Max Holloway’s incredible punch was not only applauded among the fans but across the entire sports industry. Especially the NFL, where the elites applauded the former UFC Featherweight Champion. 

The UFC 300 truly lived up to its expectations with the thrilling fight between Holloway and the most dangerous UFC opponent, Justin Gaethje for the prominent BMF belt. But in the last moment of the flight, Holloway shocked everyone when he landed a massive knockout punch at Gaethje.

The most interesting part of this intense punch was Holloway stepping into the octagon as an underdog against the knockout artist. The video already hit more than 10 million views on social media. 

One of those viewers was the award-winning studio analyst Ryan Clark, who was truly blown away by that punch by Holloway in the final 10 seconds of the fight. Clark couldn’t help himself from posting an appreciation post for Holloway, in his wild manner to match the energy of the UFC.

With this victory, Holloway not only earned the BMF belt for his historic night but also paved the way to bring two titles to the table. He then challenged the featherweight champion, Ilia Topuria, who holds a UFC record of 15-0-0.

Patrick Mahomes tweets on Max Holloway’s powerful punch

Clark wasn’t the only one blown away by Holloway’s punch. The elite NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as well, tweeted about it, writing, “That was crazy!!!!!!!!”

As Mahomes and his peers await the spring camp to open, they seem to having a great time of relaxation. The Kansas City Chiefs star seemed to have taken full advantage of the leisure time ahead of the 2024 season. He was seen carrying an unconventional dad-bod figure, especially for an athlete.
