No one knew what to expect from Jordan Love’s first season as a starter for the Green Bay Packers. Regardless, Love orchestrated a playoff appearance and even defeated the Dallas Cowboys in their own backyard.

At one point in time, the Packers did not seem like a postseason because they were struggling with 6 wins and 8 losses. Suddenly, Love kicked in another gear, and the Packers secured a spot in the later stages of the 2023 campaign.

After defeating the Cowboys in the wild card, the Packers faced the San Francisco 49ers. Remarkably, they were dominating Kyle Shanahan’s team as quarterback Brock Purdy struggled to get going. However, the 49ers eventually won the tie by 3 points after Love threw a couple of interceptions.

Former NFL player turned ESPN analyst Ryan Clark argued in favor of the Packers. He confidentially pointed out the Packers are becoming an even stronger side, and Love, with a year as a starter under his belt, has the talent and the skills to reach the Super Bowl.

It wouldn't surprise me if we're looking at a world where the Green Bay Packers [and Jordan Love] are in the Super Bowl next year.
Ryan Clark said on ESPN’s Get Up earlier this week

Jordan Love wants to win the Super Bowl

Love also has similar aspirations. The 25-year-old doesn’t view 2024 as a stepping or a rebuilding season; rather, he wants to play in the Super Bowl. Earlier this year, he reflected on the Packers’ failure to beat the 49ers and what lessons they took from the game on the Pivot Podcast.

[The] conversations we had after that 49ers game were, ‘Work harder, try and find ways to get better because next year we’re gonna do it,’ There’s no more ‘we’re a young team,’ there’s no more of those what-ifs. People know what we’re about now. [Obviously], we’ll have that target on our back now; people are gonna want to beat us. We’re hungry.
Jordan Love told Ryan Clark on the Pivot Podcast

He has the backing of All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs, who signed from the Las Vegas Raiders. In just a couple of months, Jacobs realized Love’s innate talent.

He [Jordan Love] has all the traits and all the tools to be a superstar in this league. I think that as he keeps continuing to play and gets experience and becomes more confident in his abilities and what he can do, he’s going to be the next superstar.
Josh Jacobs said

The Packers have the 19th hardest schedule, according to analyst Warren Sharp. They begin their 2024 campaign with a trip to NFC rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, on September 6.
