Ryan Clark and Bill Belichick are pretty tight. They have known each other since Clark’s Pittsburgh Steelers days. Belichick was even cool with Clark, impersonating him on live TV.
So, Clark was unprepared when Stephen A. Smith and Mad Dog Chris Russo brought up Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson. During a recent segment of What Are You Mad About?, Russo spoke about Belichick’s recent appearance on CBS Mornings to promote his new book, ‘The Art of Winning.’
When he was just about to bring Hudson into the conversation, RC tiptoed his way out of the studio floor. Cameras caught him peering behind one of the walls of the set as Smith ranted.
You’re a grown man. If somebody asks you a question and you don’t want to answer it, don’t answer it. You spent 20 years not answering questions you didn’t want to answer. We don’t need somebody else telling us you’re not answering something.

Clark clearly wanted no part in the conversation about Belichick and Hudson, who just can’t seem to stay out of controversy. Well, not at the extreme level of Smith’s colleague Shannon Sharpe.
As per Pro Football Network, Hudson was a constant presence during Belichick’s interview with CBS. The network only aired a fraction of the 24-year-old interrupting host Tony Dokoupil. However, CBS later stated that even though Hudson stormed out of the studio after a conspicuous Q&A session, the interview went well.
When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview. There were preconditions, or limitations, to this conversation. This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.

This piggybacked on the rant from Russo a day prior to the episode on ESPN. The veteran contributor stated that his daughter is nearly the same age as Hudson, and he will not be too welcoming if she brings home a 73-year-old boyfriend. Russo further torched Belichick by comparing him with his previous mentor, Bill Parcells.
Can you see Bill Parcells allowing his assistant coach or a player to go to the conclusion of a practice at MetLife with his young girlfriend, who’s wearing heels? Are you kidding me? Bill would go crazy.

Belichick’s UNC lost the chance to appear on HBO Hard Knocks due to Jordon Hudson
It’s not every day an eight-time Super Bowl winner leaves the NFL completely, starts dating a girl who’s barely 25, and agrees to coach a mid-tier football school in the ACC.
HBO hit the jackpot with Belichick signing for the UNC Tarheels as their head coach. They reportedly wanted to shoot the latest season of Hard Knocks at UNC. Until they didn’t, or in this case, couldn’t.

As per reports from The Athletic, HBO executives and UNC were close to striking a deal to bring Hard Knocks to Chapel Hill. They were ready for an official announcement on February 28 but had to scrap everything at the last moment.
So what happened? The report marked Belichick’s girlfriend as the reason for the deal’s collapse. Hudson allegedly wanted to be involved in everything. She even asked to be mentioned as executive producer of the season.
Her demands ticked off multiple owners, and they stopped the project from happening. NFL Films was due to begin filming the day after the reports first surfaced. A team constantly visited the campus for two months, talking to various people. However, everything went down the drain once they weren’t allowed to film.
The Athletic revealed UNC suffered an estimated loss of $200,000 in facilities fees due to the cancellation. Both Belichick and Hudson have remained mum about the entire ordeal.
